Cardcaptor Sakura Big Comeback

The July issue of Kodansha‘s Nakayoshi magazine is announcing on June 3 that CLAMP‘s Cardcaptor Sakura manga is inspiring a new anime project. The issue is not revealing any other information about the project, but stated that more details will be announced after they are decided.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the original manga. CLAMP are also launching a new Cardcaptor Sakura sequel manga series in the magazine’s July issue. The manga will take place after titular character Sakura graduates from Tomoeda Elementary School, in her first year of junior high school. Sakura sees a mysterious dream, and an incident takes place.

But the major return of one of anime’s most beloved heroines doesn’t end there.

Further announcement reveal that a Cardcaptor Sakura anime is also on its way. Yes! Sakura will be back on screen too! There are no specific details yet as to when this exactly will be released,  This is something exciting to look forward to.

We also hoping that the series will also air here in our Local TV Station,
